Conservatorium Maastricht is een internationaal georiënteerd conservatorium en is onderdeel van Hogeschool Zuyd. Het ligt midden in Europa, op steenworpafstand van België, Luxemburg, Duitsland en Frankrijk. Door deze internationale ligging zijn er volop mogelijkheden om ervaring op te doen op belangrijke podia in binnen- en buitenland.
Aan Conservatorium Maastricht studeren momenteel 442 studenten met zo'n 48 verschillende nationaliteiten. Er zijn drie verschillende afdelingen: Klassiek, Jazz/Pop en Docent Muziek. Conservatorium Maastricht biedt zowel Bachelor- als Masteropleidingen aan.
Met de vier kunstfaculteiten van Hogeschool Zuyd (Conservatorium, Toneelacademie, Academie Beeldende Kunsten en Academie voor Bouwkunst) heeft Maastricht een grote aantrekkingskracht op nationale en internationale kunstenaars en kunstvakstudenten. Deze kunstfaculteiten werken al geruime tijd samen met Universiteit Maastricht. In de toekomst wordt deze samenwerking nog intensiever, waardoor de aantrekkingskracht van Maastricht als Europese Onderwijsstad verder zal vergroten.
Maastricht ontvangt jaarlijks 7 miljoen bezoekers uit binnen- en buitenland.

Maastricht Academy of Music is an internationally oriented music academy and is part of Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. It is located in the centre of Europe, close to Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, and France. Because of its international position, there are ample opportunities to gain experience on important national and international stages.
Currently, 442 students of around forty-eight different nationalities study at Maastricht Academy of Music. There are three different departments: Classical Music, Jazz/Pop and Music in Education. Maastricht Academy of Music offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
The four arts faculties of Zuyd University (the Academy of Music, Drama Academy, Academy of Fine Arts and Academy of Design) attract national and international artists and arts students to Maastricht. These arts faculties have been working together with Maastricht University for a long time. This collaboration will be even more intense in the future, which will further increase the attraction of Maastricht as a European City of Education.
Annually, the city of Maastricht welcomes seven million visitors from the Netherlands and from abroad.
